Since the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, it is imperative that we teach our youth the importance of maintaining, preserving, and expanding our urban forest. Through such publications as the Tree Growing Guide, and the multi-media computer programs How Trees Work CD and From Nursery to Landscape DVD, we at Shreveport Green strive to bring our community's youth cutting edge multi-media educational materials. By bringing these interactive games like "Treevia" into the homes and schools of today's kids, we hope to create a new generation of tree stewards. We have a lot of catching up to do!
