Great American Cleanup

Keep America's Beautiful Great American Cleanup is our premier cleanup! It's the largest, city and parish-wide cleanup that attracts over 1,000 volunteers in one day!

Shreveport and Caddo Parish residents join forces in one day to rid the city of littered streets, vacant lots, and waterways. People ages from 6 to 78 help us to make our city clean and beautiful each year.

It kicks off March 1 and continues through May 31. Activities include litter cleanups, tree plantings and development or maintenance of gardens in schools, parks, and in other public spaces. Each spring residents come out to make their communities cleaner and greener.
