Inland Waterway Clean-Up

In addition to the city-wide Great American Cleanup, Shreveport Green also teams with other organizations to maintain the many waterways in our city. Annual clean-ups target the Red River, Cross Lake, and the Duck Pond. This year's river cleanups utilized 212 volunteers, picking up 26,410 pounds of trash. The Sheriff's Marine Division assists with all water cleanups by providing boats and volunteers. Partners in these cleanups include the Ozark Society.
