"Growing Together" is a hands on classroom presentation emphasizing the value of trees, and the importance of the Urban Forest (Targeted for K-6) Hosted by "Annie Oakleaf", or "Burr Oak" our resident tree characters, the students will receive an entertaining presentation on the parts of a tree, and the life cycle of a tree as it is planted and grows. After learning about the many benefits that trees provide for us, each student will receive their own tree planting kit containing a carton, dirt, and an acorn. Entertaining as well as informative, this special presentation makes a great addition to our local science curriculum.
